Mr Bean's Son & The Bell House

Dec 28 Dec 28 - I've been watching Mr Bean's show and he does really funny stuff in different places then I thought he's never done funny stuff in the snow before. So did it for him. I cracked mum up!
That afternoon we went to see the 'Bell House' where Alexander Graham Bell used to live (the man who invented the telephone). The house was a mansion but I thought it was more like a castle!

Highland Village

Dec 27 Mummy and Aaron took me to Highland Village and boy was it cold! The church on top of the hill was amazing. They brought it there on a barge over the lake!

Walkies

26 Dec - The first picture is of me and Aaron's dad, Arnold. Today Laddie took me out for a walk to the lake and I threw rocks in it trying to sink a piece of bark. Then Mummy and Aaron took me for a walk in the park. Aaron brought a big piece of ice left over from the snowman. We threw it in the brook that had fresh running water and watched it rush away. It was fantastic so I pushed a huge log in the brook and it got caught in the rocks because it was too long. Then while we were walking home we saw a carving of an old man - that was weird. Then I started to draw pictures on the picnic tables in the snow and we found a playground and Aaron went down the slide and hurt his back because of the bump in the middle. Then I went down the slide (Aaron wiped away the snow already) and didn't hurt myself at all. It was a cold walk but I had fun.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Dec 25 I got so many presents that it could fit in a big bag of presents and we took a photo of all of us. We had visitors for our turkey dinner and me and Josh wore clown hats and he was five. We both got remote control jeeps and they were both the same so remote control controlled both. The food was yummy and I had so much fun. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Delivering Christmas Presents

24 Dec - Today we went to visit Aaron's uncles and aunts to deliver their presents. They live on the other side of the lake so to save us time, instead of driving all the way around the lake we drove the car onto a boat! It was so cool and short ride. One of his uncles has a dog named 'Two toes' because he only has two toes on each paw! He was very excited and made a clacking noise as he ran through the house and was fun to play with.

Frozen Lake

23 Dec - Today Mummy took me outside to play in the snow and look at the lake. It was frozen! I threw rocks at it and they stayed on top of the ice. Only really big heavy rocks went through the ice. Mummy threw a really big log on the ice and it made a huge explosion as it broke the ice. I could carve out a shape with stick and pick up the ice off the top of the lake. I helped Laddie decorate the cookies. After dinner Aaron took us outside because it had been raining so it was good snow to slide down the hill on the sled and build a snowman. Sliding on the sled was the coolest fun I had. The snowman was soooo heavy!

Cool Rocks

22 Dec Aaron used to work in a mine and he showed me some of the really cool looking rocks he has. My favourite one was the golden one because it looked pretty. They were both really heavy and the smallest one was even heavier!

Me and Stanley

21 Dec - After playing with Jack, we dropped into Aaron's cousin's house and I played with their cat Stanley. Stanley is a Mutant Cat - he has 7 toes on his feet and thougt she was a dog, we also had cookeis YAY i love cookies.

Me and Jack

21 Dec - Today we went to Aaron's friend's house and I played with his son Jack. Jack is three and we spent ages throwing rocks in the lake. I made the rock skip once and before we went home we saw a seal. I thought that was funny.

Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia

On 19th December, we all flew to Aaron's parent's house, Arnold & Laddie. It took about 6 hours and we had to change planes in Toronto. They have a really nice house on a big lake. The next day I went outside and played in the snow for hours. I cleared the snow at the front of the house with a snow shovel and caught snowflakes on my tongue. I made snow angels and had a snow fight with Aaron. It was so cold but fun! Then it was time to go inside and decorate the Christmas tree with Mummy, Aaron and Laddie. There was a heart ornament just for me to hang on the tree.

Calgary Zoo

On 17 Dec Mummy took me to the zoo. I saw so many animals, in the photos below - 1. Hawk 2. Reindeer 3. Ducks on frozen pond - they can walk on water... because they were Jesus ducks 4. The bridge across the Bow River which was frozen 5. Cougar that was cute and cuddly like a kitten 6. Aaron organised that we go to a Kid's Christmas party at the zoo. I met Murray who was ten and we got on like a house on fire. 7. I got an electric toothbrush and bubble bath from Santa and Murray got a Bionicle and I helped him build it. 8. Then there was a play about all the animals that have to survive winter in Canada 9. In the play, I was a Snowflake. 10. After the party we looked at the rest of the zoo and found some ice sculptures - I thought they were made of glass! 11. An amazing playground that was more like a maze - I was confused! 12. And I helped build an igloo 13. & 14. When it got dark enough, then they turned on the 2.5 million Zoo Lights! Most of the lights were of animals. I thought it was the best.
