Polar Bear Swim

On 1st January Canadians are a bit crazy and they go for a swim - it is below zero!!! We went to watch it in Baddeck so mummy and I got a photo in front of the lighthouse. There was a dog there that was so white, he blended in with the snow. The swim was so quick - they got out as soon as they went in... brrrrrr! one of the kids went in and went too far then turned around to see every body out. i nerly fell in as the INVISABLE dog jumed at me

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!

I had the coolest New Year. At 11pm I got dressed and went outside with my crazy-carpet and slid down the hill until Arnold, Aaron and Mummy built a fire right in the snow at the lake! I didn't want to leave I was having so much fun. Other people around the lake had fireworks at midnight. We lit a few flares. When we went inside Arnold and I made sure the furnace had a big log in it to keep the house warm all night. Laddie then showed me how to make 'smors'. You put a marshmellow between two chocolate cookies and put it into the microwave for 12 seconds. The marshmellow grows really big as it gets warmer - I wanted to put it on for longer to see how big it was really get but wasn't allowed. Then you squish the warm marshmellow between the cookies - yummy!!!

Hurricane Beach!

Dec 30 - In the afternoon we went for a drive to the beach. It was so windy you could throw a rock and it would come right back at you. It was so cold there was snow on the sand. On the way we passed a frozen lake and i still want my kite back.

Wedding

30 Jan - Today we got dressed up to go to Aaron's friend's wedding. I loved the snowflake icing sugar lollypop I got.
